  This is an awesome little bar. I dropped by after a backpacking trip in
  the sierras. The locals were friendly and the bartender even gave me half
  of her dinner -- "are you new in town? have you had anything to eat?" I
  tried to give her some money for it but she refused. Karma. The late crowd
  is younger than the early crowd. There were quite a few very young, very
  cute, very drunk girls after midnight. Yeah, I hit on them but I'm way too
  old for them. Still, it was fun to watch, and the bartender was great. I
  thought I lost my wallet and the drinks were on the house. Then I found my
  wallet and all was good. It was fun watching the little fights and the
  drunk chicks stumbling around. Small town, good safe fun I guess. Everyone
  knows everyone else but I felt welcome.
  
  The only downside is that my head still hurts. It's been years since I was
  drinking at "last call", but this was too good of a show to leave.
